In 2023, having transitioned to freelance, I immediately reached out to a studio I love and respect in the Seattle area: Atomic Infotech. They’re a longstanding firm with a strong history in the gaming and tech spaces, and they contract me as both a Live Director and as a Call Operator. In the above example, I directed episodes of the show Fight Night for them and their client: Amazon Crown Channel.

I’ve been volunteering to produce the IndieCade festival streams for a couple of years now, and they are always among the most rewarding projects I work on. The IndieCade team is small but mighty, and their awards shows are particularly challenging. As producer and director, my job was to wrangle as many as 48 different developers, from every conceivable timezone around the world, to appear on screen and accept awards for their games. It was a mad scramble to plan. Sadly, the broadcasts don’t exist online in their uncut form any more, but the above snippet from the awards show represents some of my favorite moments from the broadcasts over the years.
